Ring Alarm (2nd Generation) with the Keypad.

Enable Guest User Scheduling for Ring Alarm

You can now provide people in your circle of trust—dog walkers, babysitters, contractors, and more—with limited access to your Ring Alarm, only during specific hours and on days that you choose.

The Guest User Scheduling feature gives Alarm Owners the ability to create schedules to determine when their Guest Users have permission to arm and disarm the Ring Alarm system using the Keypad during a specific date and time frame. Owners have the option to customize schedules for a single day and time, or multiple days and times each week when access is granted.

If a Guest User attempts to arm or disarm at any time outside the schedule created by the Owner, the Guest User’s access code for Ring Alarm will not arm or disarm, and the Owner and Shared Users will get a push notification to alert them of the failed attempt.

You will see history events within the app when a Guest User’s schedule has been added, edited, or removed.

Note: Smart Locks Not Supported

At this time, Guest User schedules only apply to the Alarm Keypad. They do not apply to smart locks. If your Guest User has an access code which works in your smart lock and uses the code in the lock outside the scheduled hours, they will be able to get inside your home and set off your Ring Alarm—without being able to disarm. You may be assessed a false alarm fee if this is not a real alarm.

(This feature is available for all Neighbors with a Ring Alarm. Professional Monitoring is not required to use this feature.)
