Safety and Compliance Information for Ring Jobsite Security Case

WARNING: Improper installation or mounting of the case may create risk of injury. Follow mounting instructions and mount the case only on stable surfaces. Only use the provided mounting hardware to mount the case.

Local building codes may restrict the use of the case and its accessories. Refer to local building codes before installation and use.

Install the case away from high traffic areas to decrease risk of tripping and collision. Use caution when installing the case in an elevated position. If the case is mounted in an elevated position, ensure the case is properly installed and secured. Failure to do so may create risk of injury. Do not mount at heights greater than 2 m.

Do not expose your case and its accessories to liquids. If your adapter gets wet, carefully unplug all cables without getting your hands wet and wait for the adapter to dry completely before plugging them in again. Do not attempt to dry your case or adapter with an external heat source, such as a microwave oven or a hair dryer. If the case or its accessories appear damaged, discontinue use immediately. Use only accessories supplied with the case to power your devices. To avoid risk of electric shock, do not touch your case or its power cord during a lightning storm.

Keep your Ring Jobsite Security Case in a well-ventilated area and away from heat sources, especially when in use. The Ring Jobsite Security Case may get hot during normal use. To reduce the effect of the warming, place your Ring Jobsite Security Case on a heat resistant surface. If you find the case has become hot to the touch, unplug power and let it cool down for a few minutes before handling. Do not operate your devices near water or in extremely humid conditions. Contact Ring Customer Service for assistance.

  • Small parts contained in your case and its accessories may present a choking hazard to small children.
  • If any device or cables appear damaged, discontinue using the device immediately.
  • Always plug the external power supply cord into an easily accessible 120VAC receptacle, located near to the Jobsite Security Case. 
  • Risk of fire or explosion if the battery is replaced by an incorrect type.

Maintaining Your Ring Jobsite Security Case

Only handle your devices with clean hands. Clean your devices only with a soft cloth that is slightly damp with water and a touch of rubbing alcohol; be careful not to wipe it with anything abrasive or to use any harsh chemicals. Don’t expose your devices to steam or extreme heat or cold. For example, do not install your case near any heat sources such as space heaters, heater vents, radiators, stoves, or other things that produce heat.

When not in use, it is recommended you store your Ring Jobsite Security Case out of direct sunlight, in a dry and dust free area.

Use of third-party accessories may impact your devices’ performance. In limited circumstances, use of third-party accessories may void your devices’ limited warranty. In addition, use of incompatible third-party accessories may lead to damage to the case or its accessories. Read all safety instructions for any accessories before using with your Jobsite Security Case.
