What is the Tamper Proof Cover?

The Tamper Proof Cover is a plastic cover you securely lock over your Ring Video Doorbell 2, 3, 3 Plus and 4, with an extra key (included with purchase). It provides theft protection for your Ring Video Doorbell. The Tamper Proof Cover comes with its own compatible wedge and corner kits and cannot be used with corner and wedge kits sold separately. In addition, the Tamper Proof Cover is not compatible with the solar charger or no-drill mount. 

How does the Tamper Proof Cover work?

The Tamper Proof Cover is a plastic shell that fits securely over your Ring Video Doorbell 2, 3, 3 Plus and 4. Once secure, it can be locked with the included key to secure the cover in place. The cover also comes with an optional lock that can be secured by an ordinary 9/32in (7mm) padlock (padlock not included). 

Is a padlock included with the Tamper Proof Cover?

No. You can purchase your own padlock separately. The Tamper Proof Cover does, however, come with an included lock and two keys. The padlock can be used as an optional security measure. 

What do I do if my Ring Video Doorbell is stolen?

If your Ring Doorbell is stolen, it's covered by our theft protection policy.

What should I do if I lose the keys to the case?
