Controlling Alexa Devices with Access to Live View on Your Ring Devices

In Control Center, you can manage which of your Alexa-enabled devices has access to Live View on your Ring doorbells and cameras. So if you give an Alexa devices to a friend or family member, you'll be able to revoke the recipient's access to see Live View on your connected Ring devices. Before you get started, make sure your Amazon and Ring accounts are linked.

How to control which Alexa devices can access Live View on your Ring devices.

  1. Open the Ring app.
  2. Tap the
    menu (≡)
    , then tap
    Control Center
    .
  3. Choose
    Amazon Account Linking
    .
  4. Scroll down to see a list of all your connected Alexa devices.
  5. Use the toggles to enable or disable access for each device. You can adjust these settings from this screen at any time.

Note: Enhanced controls will only be available if you have linked your Ring and Amazon accounts, and only for Alexa devices on the linked Amazon account.
