Tools needed

Phillips-head screwdriver

Drill with 1/4 in (6 mm) masonry bit (optional)

Stud finder (Ring Elite 360 4K only)
Tools included

L-shaped hex key (Ring Elite 140 4K and Ring Elite 360 4K only)
1.
Remove the protective wrap.

2.
Download the Ring app.

3.
Scan the QR code on your device.

4.
Choose a location near an outlet or active PoE Type 4 injector.
NOTE: If connecting to a PoE (Power over Ethernet) power source, ensure your PoE switch or injector is capable of PoE Type 4, active, and connected to a functioning Cat 6 or above Ethernet cable.

5.
If you are using an Ethernet cable, ensure that the cable does not have a pusher or strain relief.

Ring Elite 140 4K installation
1.
Slide the round mounting plate in the direction opposite to the UP arrow to remove.

2.
Use the mounting plate as a guide to mark screw holes on the wall.
NOTE: If you are routing the power cable through the wall, feed it through the mounting plate.

3.
Install the mounting plate with the UP arrow pointing up.

On stucco, brick, or concrete, use a 1/4 in (6 mm) masonry bit to drill holes for the included wall anchors.

4.
Remove the rubber cap on the back of your camera.

5.
Attach the camera mount to the back of your camera with its screw.

6.
Plug the power or Ethernet cable into the port on the back of your camera.
NOTE: If using the USB-C cable, tighten the screw to secure it to your camera.

7.
Secure your camera to the mounting plate by sliding until you feel a click.

If routing the power or Ethernet cable through the wall, feed it through the slot at the bottom of the camera mount.

8.
Rotate your camera and tighten the security screw on the camera mount.

9.
Plug the power adapter or other end of the Ethernet cable into an outlet or PoE Type 4 injector, respectively.

10.
Anchor the power or Ethernet cable to the wall or ceiling with the included cable clips, if necessary.

On stucco, brick, or concrete, use a 1/4 in (6 mm) masonry bit to drill holes for the included wall anchors.

11.
If using the power adapter, secure it to the wall with the included anchors and screws.
NOTE: If your adapter has a mounting plate, secure the mounting plate first, then attach the adapter to the mounting plate.
On stucco, brick, or concrete, use a 1/4 in (6 mm) masonry bit to drill holes for the included wall anchors.

12.
Adjust your camera's angle, if necessary.

13.
Tighten the screw on the metal collar to secure in place.

Use the included corner mounting plate as a guide to mark screw holes on an inner wall corner.

2.
Route the power cable through the corner mounting plate.

3.
Install the corner mounting plate on the wall corner.

On stucco, brick, or concrete, use a 1/4 in (6 mm) masonry bit to drill holes for the included wall anchors.

4.
Slide the mounting plate in the direction opposite to the UP arrow to remove.

5.
Install the mounting plate onto the corner mounting plate with the UP arrow pointing up.

6.
Remove the rubber cap on the back of your camera.

7.
Attach the camera mount to the back of your camera with its screw.

8.
Plug in the power or Ethernet cable into your camera.
NOTE: If using the USB-C cable, tighten the screw to secure it to your camera.

9.
Route the power cable through a slot on the bottom or top of the camera mount.

10.
Secure your camera to the mounting plate by sliding until you feel a click.

11.
Rotate your camera and tighten the security screw.

12.
Plug the power adapter or other end of the Ethernet cable into an outlet or PoE Type 4 injector, respectively.

13.
Anchor the power cable to the wall or ceiling with the included cable clips.

On stucco, brick, or concrete, use a 1/4 in (6 mm) masonry bit to drill holes for the included wall anchors.

14.
If using the power adapter, secure it to the wall with the included anchors and screws.
NOTE: If your adapter has a mounting plate, secure the mounting plate first, then attach the adapter to the mounting plate.
On stucco, brick, or concrete, use a 1/4 in (6 mm) masonry bit to drill holes for the included wall anchors.

15.
Adjust your camera's angle, if necessary.

16.
Tighten the screw on the metal collar to secure in place.

NOTE: The arrow should point toward your desired viewing direction.

3.
Install the mounting plate.

On stucco, brick, or concrete, use a 1/4 in (6 mm) masonry bit to drill holes for the included wall anchors.

Remove the rubber cap on the back of your camera.

5.
Attach the camera mount to the back of your camera with its screw.

6.
Secure your camera to the mounting plate by sliding until you feel a click.

7.
Rotate your camera and tighten the security screw.

8.
Plug the power or Ethernet cable into your camera.
NOTE: If using the USB-C cable, tighten the screw to secure it to your camera.

9.
Plug the power adapter or other end of the Ethernet cable into an outlet or PoE Type 4 injector, respectively.

10.
Anchor the power cable to the wall or ceiling with the included cable clips.

On stucco, brick, or concrete, use a 1/4 in (6 mm) masonry bit to drill holes for the included wall anchors.

11.
If using the power adapter, secure it to the wall with the included anchors and screws.

Ring Elite 180 4K installation
1.

Use the mounting plate as a guide to mark screw holes on the wall with 5.5 in (14 cm) of space in every direction.

3.
Route the cable along the center groove of the mounting plate.

4.
Install the mounting plate with the UP arrow pointing up.

On stucco, brick, or concrete, use a 1/4 in (6 mm) masonry bit to drill holes for the included wall anchors.

5.
Secure your camera to the mounting plate by sliding until you feel a click.

6.
Plug the power or Ethernet cable into your camera.
NOTE: If using the USB-C cable, tighten the screw to secure it to your camera.

7.
Gently tug the cable to remove slack.

8.
Secure your camera to the mounting plate by sliding until you feel a click.

9.
Tighten the screw to secure.

10.
Plug the power adapter or other end of the Ethernet cable into an outlet or PoE Type 4 injector, respectively.

11.
Anchor the power or Ethernet cable to the wall or ceiling with the included cable clips, if necessary.

On stucco, brick, or concrete, use a 1/4 in (6 mm) masonry bit to drill holes for the included wall anchors.

12.
If using the power adapter, secure it to the wall with the included anchors and screws.
NOTE: If your adapter has a mounting plate, secure the mounting plate first, then attach the adapter to the mounting plate.

Tilt mount installation
1.
Use the mounting plate as a guide to mark screw holes on the wall with 5.5 in (14 cm) of space in every direction.
NOTE: Ensure the UP arrow is pointing up and the mounting plate is level.

2.
If your power source is above the camera, route the cable down the center groove of the mounting plate.

3.
Install the mounting plate with the UP arrow pointing up.

On stucco, brick, or concrete, use a 3/16 in (5 mm) masonry bit to drill holes for the included wall anchors.

4.
Secure your camera to the mounting plate by sliding until you feel a click.

5.
Plug the power or Ethernet cable into your camera.
NOTE: If using the USB-C cable, tighten the screw to secure it to your camera.

6.
Tighten the screw to secure.
NOTE: Ensure the camera is secure and cannot be moved easily.

7.
Plug the power adapter or other end of the Ethernet cable into an outlet or PoE Type 4 injector, respectively.

8.
Anchor the power or Ethernet cable to the wall or ceiling with the included cable clips, if necessary.

On stucco, brick, or concrete, use a 1/4 in (6 mm) masonry bit to drill holes for the included wall anchors.

9.
If using the power adapter, secure it to the wall with the included anchors and screws.
NOTE: If your adapter has a mounting plate, secure the mounting plate first, then attach the adapter to the mounting plate.
On stucco, brick, or concrete, use a 1/4 in (6 mm) masonry bit to drill holes for the included wall anchors.

Ring Elite 270 4K installation
1.
Remove your camera’s native mounting plate.

2.
Use the mounting plate as a guide to mark screw holes on the wall with 5.5 in (14 cm) of space in every direction.

3.
Route the cable along the slot on either side of the mount.

4.
Install the mounting plate with the UP arrow pointing up.

On stucco, brick, or concrete, use a 1/4 in (6 mm) masonry bit to drill holes for the included wall anchors.

5.
Plug the power or Ethernet cable into your camera.
NOTE: If using the USB-C cable, tighten the screw to secure it to your camera.

6.
Slot your camera over the corner mounting plate and slide down to secure in place.

7.
Tighten the security screw.

8.
Attach the cable cover to the bottom of your camera by rotating counter-clockwise until you feel a click.

9.
Plug the power adapter or other end of the Ethernet cable into an outlet or PoE Type 4 injector, respectively.

10.
Anchor the power or Ethernet cable to the wall or ceiling with the included cable clips, if necessary.

On stucco, brick, or concrete, use a 1/4 in (6 mm) masonry bit to drill holes for the included wall anchors.

11.
If using the power adapter, secure it to the wall with the included anchors and screws.
NOTE: If your adapter has a mounting plate, secure the mounting plate first, then attach the adapter to the mounting plate.
On stucco, brick, or concrete, use a 1/4 in (6 mm) masonry bit to drill holes for the included wall anchors.

Extended mount installation
1.
Choose a location.
NOTE: Ensure your power or Ethernet cable can reach your camera.

2.
Remove your camera’s standard mounting plate.

3.
Slide the mounting bracket’s plastic cover backward to detach.

4.
Route the power or Ethernet cable through the mount tube.

5a.
If mounting on a wall corner, use the mounting bracket to mark screw holes on the wall.

5b.
If mounting on a pole or tree, loop the metal straps through the slots on the mounting bracket.

6a.
Install the mounting bracket with the included screws.

On stucco, brick, or concrete, use a 1/4 in (6 mm) masonry bit to drill holes for the included wall anchors.

6b.
Close the metal strap around the mounting surface, then tighten the fastener head until secure.

7.
Reattach the mounting bracket’s plastic cover by sliding until you feel a click.

8.
Slide the camera mount’s plastic cover backward to detach.

9.
Attach your camera to the mount by sliding until you feel a click.

10.
Tighten the screw to secure.

11.
Plug the power or Ethernet cable into your camera.
NOTE: If using the USB-C cable, tighten the screw to secure it to your camera.

12.
Attach the cable cover to the bottom of your camera by rotating counter-clockwise until you feel a click.

13.
Push the front of the mount back into place.

14.
Tighten the screw to secure.

15.
Plug the power adapter or other end of the Ethernet cable into an outlet or PoE Type 4 injector, respectively.

16.
Anchor the power or Ethernet cable to a stable surface with the included cable clips.

On stucco, brick, or concrete, use a 1/4 in (6 mm) masonry bit to drill holes for the included wall anchors.

17.
If using the power adapter, secure it to the wall with the included anchors and screws.
NOTE: If your adapter has a mounting plate, secure the mounting plate first, then attach the adapter to the mounting plate.
On stucco, brick, or concrete, use a 1/4 in (6 mm) masonry bit to drill holes for the included wall anchors.

Ring Elite 360 4K installation
1.
Use a stud finder to locate your ceiling’s studs.

2.
Use the mounting plate as a guide to mark screw holes on the ceiling.
NOTE: The arrow should point toward your desired viewing direction.

3.
Install the mounting plate.
NOTE: For best results, ensure at least one screw is driven into a stud.

On stucco, brick, or concrete, use a 1/4 in (6 mm) masonry bit to drill holes for the included wall anchors.

4.
Install the mount cover and included safety strap onto the top of your camera, ensuring the safety strap’s metal ring is secured with a mount cover screw.

5.
Loop the other end of the safety strap over the hook on the mounting plate.
NOTE: Gently tug the safety strap to ensure it is secure before releasing.

6a.
If using an Ethernet cable, route it to the bottom of your camera through slot A.

6b.
If using the included power cable, route it to the bottom of your camera through slot B.

7.
Plug the power or Ethernet cable into your camera.
NOTE: If using the USB-C cable, tighten the screw to secure it to your camera.

8.
Place the mounting cover over the mounting plate and rotate clockwise until you feel a click.

9.
Use the included L-shaped hex key, screws, and rubber caps to secure the mount cover onto the mounting plate.

10.
Place the cable cover over the bottom of your camera and rotate counter-clockwise until you feel a click to secure.

11.
Plug the power adapter or other end of the Ethernet cable into an outlet or PoE Type 4 injector, respectively.

12.
Anchor the power cable to the wall or ceiling with the included cable clips, if necessary.

On stucco, brick, or concrete, use a 1/4 in (6 mm) masonry bit to drill holes for the included wall anchors.

13.
If using the power adapter, secure it to the wall with the included anchors and screws.
NOTE: If your adapter has a mounting plate, secure the mounting plate first, then attach the adapter to the mounting plate.
