Updating your address in the Ring app

For optimal performance of your Ring device, features, and services, enter your precise address in the Ring app.

How to update your address

  1. Open the Ring app to the main dashboard.
  2. Tap the menu (☰).
  3. Tap Settings.
  4. Scroll down to Location Details, and tap
    Address.
  5. Tap
    Edit Address.
    • Note:
      If you are enrolled in 24

      you will be prompted to switch to self-monitoring to edit your address. Once you complete the edit, you can
  6. Select your new location type: Home or Business.
    • If Business is selected, choose business type.
  7. Enter your new location's address.
    • Enter your address manually, if it does not autopopulate as you are typing it in.
  8. Tap
    Use this Address.
  9. Keep or change the name of your Location.
  10. Tap
    Save Location
    when done.
