Manage Auto-Verified Guests for Amazon Key Access (for Residents and Staff)

Grant scheduled access to your trusted guests through the Ring app with the Auto-Verified Guest feature for Amazon Key Access. You can easily add your trusted guests and set a specific duration when they're permitted to enter your property.

Auto-Verified Guests can then access your property via their Ring app. Property Managers control whether they want to enable Auto-Verified Guests to access the property, which Entrances are shareable and access schedules.

As an Amazon Key Access User, you can:

  • Select specific entrances to share with each Auto-Verified Guest
  • Determine when Auto-Verified Guests can access the property
  • Receive notifications when Auto-Verified Guests unlock entrances
  • View unlock events in Event History
  • Remove Auto-Verified Guests' access anytime

Auto-Verified Guests cannot:

  • Add other Auto-Verified Guests
  • Receive and answer visitor calls
  • View Event History
  • Change device settings

Property managers may modify shareable entrances and schedules at any time, with immediate effect. You will receive email notifications about changes affecting your Auto-Verified Guests and should inform your guests accordingly.

Once you have finished setting up Amazon Key Access, you can add a trusted guest as an Auto-Verified Guest in the Ring app.
