Setting up your Schlage Encode lock

Follow these instructions to set up your Schlage Encode lock in the Ring app.

Set up your Schlage account

Note: Make sure you have your Schlage account login and password handy during setup in the Ring app.

Set up your Schlage Encode lock in the Ring app 

1. Open your Ring app.

2. Tap Set Up a Device at the bottom of the screen.

3. Tap

   Set up a non-Ring device or choose manually

   .
4. Follow the in-app prompts.
5. On the Schlage information page, tap 

   I have an account.
6. Connect your Schlage account to your Ring account.
   • Tap 

     I agree

      when asked if you will allow your Schlage app to be connected to the Ring app.
7. Enter your User ID and Password to log in to your Schlage account.
   • Your Schlage account is now connected to your Ring account.
8. Once your Schlage device is configured in the Schlage app, you can now configure it in the Ring app.
   • Choose the address where your Schlage lock is located.
