Recording voicemail on Ring Intercom Video and Ring Intercom Audio

Ring Intercom Video and Ring Intercom Audio support call recording and voicemail when subscribed to a Ring subscription. Ring Intercom Video will record both video and audio during an intercom call if the building’s intercom system includes a camera. With Ring Intercom Audio, the system records audio only, even if the building’s intercom system has a camera.

Subscription requirement Call recording and voicemail are only available with an active Ring subscription. If you don’t have an active plan, recordings and voicemail messages will not be saved. Recording will only begin when the intercom call is answered or when the voicemail begins after an intercom call is missed. Calls are not recorded between the button press and one of the events above.

Spoken warning notice A spoken warning notice stating “This conversation will be recorded” will play through the building intercom after meeting one of the above conditions before the recording begins.
