Updating your Organizational Email Address for your Personal Ring or Neighbors app account

Verified Accounts are unable to utilize their official organization-issued email address simultaneously with their Verified User account and the Ring/Neighbors app. If your official organization email address is presently in use on the Ring App or Neighbors App, you must update it with a personal email address. Please follow one of the two sets of step-by-step instructions provided below to complete this process.

How do I update my email address through the Ring website?

1. Go to Ring.com
2. Click on "Login" located at the top right corner.
3. Sign in using your organization-issued email credentials.
4. Hover your mouse over "Account" at the top right corner and select "Control Center."
5. Choose "Update" next to your email (Replace this with your personal email address not already associated with Ring).
6. Verify and complete the update process.
7. Once your email is updated, proceed with one of the following options:
   1. If you already have a Verified User account, contact your organization administrators to reactivate your account.
   2. If you need a Verified User account to be created, get in touch with your organization administrators to add you.

How do I update my email address through the Ring App?

1. Log in to the Ring App.
2. Tap the Hamburger menu/icon located in the top left-hand corner.
3. Choose "Control Center." Step
4. Select "Account Management."
5. Click on "Update" next to your email (Replace this with your personal email address not already associated with Ring).
6. Verify and complete the update process.
7. Once your email is updated, proceed with one of the following options:
   1. If you already have a Verified User account, contact your organization administrators to reactivate your account.
   2. If you need a Verified User account to be created, get in touch with your organization administrators to add you.
