White Ring security camera mounted on wall

All Locations Dashboard

Ring customers now have access to powerful tools through the All Locations Dashboard, designed to simplify multi-location security management. The dashboard is available to all Ring users with two or more locations. Below is an overview of the key features.

Camera Collections

The Camera Collections feature helps business users organize and monitor cameras across multiple locations with ease. Default camera collections are automatically created based on your location types (business, home, or other). These collections update automatically as you add or remove cameras. Default collections cannot be deleted or renamed.

What you can do:

  • Group up to 650 cameras per collection.
  • Organize cameras across locations by use case, region, or type.
  • Navigate collections using horizontal scroll for easy viewing.
  • View up to three camera collections on the dashboard home page.
  • Reorder camera tiles and collections by long-pressing and dragging them into a different arrangement.

Example use case: If you operate three locations, you can create a collection titled Backdoor to group all Backdoor cameras together. This lets you organize all backdoor traffic from three locations in real-time from one view.

Locations Overview Module

Manage all your locations from a single place with the Locations Overview Module.

What you can do:

  • Group locations by Alarm Mode (Disarmed, Home, Away).
  • Quickly see how many locations are in each state.
  • View and navigate by mode state to access specific locations.
  • Change Alarm Modes (Disarmed, Home, Away) for each location directly from All Locations Dashboard.

Important note: Shared Users and Installers can change Alarm Modes if granted the appropriate permissions. These permissions are managed by the location Owner or Advanced role.

How it works:

  • See a real-time snapshot of your locations and their Alarm Mode states.
  • Click any mode category to see which locations are currently in that state.
  • Access a full list of locations to easily view their status and navigate directly to a given location’s dashboard.
