Installing Your Ring Car Cam Holder

Support your Ring Car Cam with the Car Cam Holder.

Follow these instructions to install:

1. Prepare to place Car Cam Holder.

Before you peel the adhesive tape, find and test a good spot on your lower windshield place the holder. Be sure not to cover any of your car's dashboard sensors. Don't wedge the holder against the dashboard with excessive force.

2. Clean the windshield area.

Using the included cleaning pads, thoroughly wipe down the windshield surface where you plan to place the holder and remove any dust, grease, and other residue. Let dry a few minutes.

3. Remove the tape and gently place.

Without the Car Cam device inserted, peel back the adhesive tape on the holder and place it on the chosen lower portion of the windshield – ensuring you stay clear of any of your vehicle's sensors. It should sit flush with the dashboard.

4. Gently hold in place for 30 seconds.

Don't use excessive force. Just keep Car Cam Holder in place for half a minute.

5. Check the strap and slide in your Car Cam device.

Ensure the strap is unlatched, and slide the device into the holder slot.

6. Secure Car Cam with the strap.

Once Car Cam has been fully secured into the Holder, pull the rubber strap to the latched position, securing it across Car Cam’s body.
