Warning for Adapters
Do not force the adapter into a power outlet.

Your device does not have an on/off button. If you wish to stop power from flowing to your device, unplug the power cord. Do not plug multiple electric devices into the same wall socket. Overloading a socket can cause it to overheat and may result in a fire.

SAFELY CONNECTING YOUR Ring Access Control Unit V2 TO YOUR BUILDING’S ELECTRICAL WIRING
If you install the Ring Access Control Unit V2 where an access control device is already in use and you connect the Ring Access Control Unit V2 to your building's access control device electrical wiring, you must turn off the existing access control device’s power source at your building’s circuit breaker or fuse and test that the power is off BEFORE removing the existing access control device, installing the Ring Access Control Unit V2, or touching electrical wires. Failure to turn off circuit breaker or fuse so could result in FIRE, ELECTRIC SHOCK, or OTHER INJURY or DAMAGE.
More than one disconnect switch may be required to turn off the equipment before servicing.
If the electrical wiring in your building does not resemble any of the diagrams or instructions provided with Ring Access Control Unit V2, if you encounter damaged or unsafe wiring, or if you are unsure or uncomfortable in performing this installation or handling electrical wiring, please consult a qualified electrician in your area.
Use this device in dry rooms only. Do not cover the device while operating. Do not open the housing. Protect this device from sunlight. Disconnecting the plug will power the device off. Do not use the device if the plug or housing is defective, there is a risk of electric shock.
Protection Against Water
Do not expose your device or adapter to liquids. If your device or adapter gets wet, carefully unplug all cables without getting your hands wet and wait for the device and adapter to dry completely before plugging them in again. Do not attempt to dry your device or adapter with an external heat source, such as a microwave oven or a hair dryer.
To reduce the risk of damage to your device, follow these instructions:
Do not immerse your device in water or expose them to seawater, salt water, chlorinated water or other liquids (such as beverages).
Do not spill any food, oil, lotion or abrasive substances on your device.
