The light patterns below are for the Ring Video Doorbell (1st Generation), Ring Video Doorbell (2nd Generation), Ring Video Doorbell 3, Ring Video Doorbell 3 Plus, Ring Video Doorbell 4, Ring Battery Video Doorbell, Ring Battery Video Doorbell Plus and Ring Battery Video Doorbell Pro.

Failed setup - Ring temporary network access point | White light flashing on the right - The Ring network is for setup only. When you complete setup you'll connect to your home wifi network and won't be connected to the Ring network. | |
Failed setup | White light flashing on the top - incorrect password - passwords are case sensitive and have no spaces. | |
Failed setup | White light flashing left - failed setup for a reason other than incorrect password or Ring network access point. | |
Firmware update | White light flashing on and off - doorbell is updating internally. | |
Idle mode | Solid white light - doorbell is idle. Note: This mode only applies when your doorbell is wired to your home electricity. |
