Ring Video Doorbell Wired light patterns

Find out what doorbell you have in the Ring app.

Your Video Doorbell Wired has an LED light located on the front to show you the status of your device. If your Video Doorbell Wired shows a solid white light it's either in idle mode or recording. Additional descriptions of light patterns are shown below.

Note: This device shown is a Ring Video Doorbell Pro. Your Video Doorbell Wired has a removable black faceplate.

Speaker enabled	Solid blue light
Successful set up	Lights flash four times
Setup failed - password error  (passwords are case sensitive)	Flashing white half circle (top)
Setup failed - couldn't connect to Ring network (access point)	Flashing white half circle (right)

Factory reset	Short rapid flashing burst of blue light, then a spinning white circle
