Manage your payment method for Ring subscriptions

Learn how to add, update, or remove your payment method for subscriptions on ring.com.


Understanding payment methods on ring.com

Important things to know about your payment method:

  • You can only have one payment method on file for subscriptions.
  • Adding a new payment method doesn't automatically start a subscription.
    .
  • Your Ring subscriptions will automatically charge to the payment method on file and will auto-renew until you choose to cancel.
  • Shared Users cannot manage payment methods for subscriptions.
  • We accept all major credit and debit cards for subscriptions. We do not accept gift cards for subscriptions.
  • Without a valid payment method, your subscription will expire, and all recorded videos will be deleted.
  • If you subscribe to a plan during a trial, you'll be charged after the trial is over.

Adding and updating your payment method

To add or update a payment method:

    • On a computer: Select
      Account
      at the top right.
    • On a mobile browser: Select the
      menu (☰)
      on the top left.

    Control Centre
    .
  2. Select
    Account Management
    .
  3. In the
    Payment Method
    section, select
    Add
    or
    Update
    .
    • For updating a payment method, select
      Add New
      . Then select
      Change Payment Method
      at the bottom right.
    • If you leave this page before saving your new credit card information, your payment method will be deleted. A missing payment method may cause your subscription to expire, and all your recorded videos to be permanently deleted.
  4. Enter your payment information and select
    Save
    .

Removing a payment method

To remove a payment method:

    • On a computer: Select
      Account
      at the top right.
    • On a mobile browser: Select the
      menu (☰)
      on the top left.

    Account Management

  3. In the
    Payment Method
    section, select
    Update
    .
  4. Select
    Remove
    .
  5. Select
    Confirm
    to remove.
