Learn how to download a compatible mobile browser to use the latest features of the Ring app.

Compatible mobile browsers

For Android devices:

• Google Chrome
• Samsung
• Firefox
• Amazon Silk (Fire tablets only)

How to download a supported browser on your Android device

1. Open the

   Google Play

   app.
2. Search for one of the compatible browsers listed above.
3. Follow the on-screen steps to download and install the browser.

Tip: As long you have one of the supported browsers installed on your device, you can set any browser as your default.

“Unsupported browser” or “page could not be found” error

If you see an “unsupported browser” or “page could not be found” error on your Android device after signing in with your username, password and one-time passcode (OTP), you may be using an unsupported browser. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete your sign-in.

• For Firefox and Opera browsers, open the dotted menu and tap on

  Open in App

  to complete sign-in.
• For Edge browser, tap

  Open external app

  in the pop up that appears at the bottom of the screen.

If you don’t see an Open in App or Open external app option:

1. Go to your Android

   Settings

   and then to

   Apps

   .
2. Select the

   Ring

   app.
3. Select

   Open by Default

   settings.
4. Toggle on

   Open supported links

   .
