Note: Devices that come in your Ring Alarm Kit are pre-matched and waiting to be set up. When you power on one of the devices, it will start communicating with the Base Station. The Base Station will listen for the device and once they hear each other, it will begin its pairing process. While completing the pairing process, the Base Station stops listening for other devices.

If multiple devices are powered on they will compete with each other and the Base Station can't listen for a signal from individual devices. Because of this some of the devices may have difficulty pairing.
