How to View the live video and see the visitor at your Ring Intercom Video
If your building intercom has a camera that transmits video, and it’s connected to a Ring Intercom Video, you can answer a video call and see the visitor through your Echo Show or Fire TV device. The live video is only available when a visitor is calling you at the building intercom. If your Fire TV relies on the Alexa button on a remote to activate Alexa to receive commands, and that same Alexa button acts as the mute/unmute button, Alexa will not be able to be mute the active audio and answer the command during an active call. You need to end the intercom call first before commanding Alexa to unlock the door. To see or speak to your visitor, you can say: _Alexa, speak to [Ring Intercom device Name]._ __Alexa, talk to [Ring Intercom device Name]._ If Alexa is commanded when there’s no one calling you, there will not be an available video to stream.
